Mark is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey (qualified 2014) and English Solicitor (non-practising) (qualified 2012) specialising in private client and commercial litigation. He strives for achieving the best results for his clients and his approach is to provide clear, sensible, commercially astute advice.
He has previously acted as lead counsel on a number of noteworthy cases, including one of the leading local authorities on insolvent trusts (In the matter of the Representation of the Z Trusts  JRC031); in commercial cases (including acting for Hard Rock Limited ( JRC129)); as an amicus appointed by the Royal Court (see AG v O’Connell JRC117 & Dos Santos v AG JRC163); and, in cases of financial crime (AG v Fleming JRC132 & Arthur v AG and Others JRC132).
Mark has developed specialism acting for individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries, successfully settling cases for significant sums.
Finally Mark has a highly regarded reputation defending clients in the criminal courts. He has had considerable successes in recent years gaining a number of acquittals representing clients facing serious criminal charges.
